KatadataOTO – Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI) is collaborating again at the GIIAS 2025 event at ICE BSD, Tangerang. This time, they are partnering with Oaken Lab.
Oaken is an artisan perfume brand from Indonesia. Known for its approach to craftsmanship and storytelling in every scent it creates.
The collaboration between the two carries the theme of Motion, Memory & Fragrance. They aim to present an experience where driving and fragrance can synergize with each other.
So that Mazda car owners can create a deeper emotional connection between the vehicle and the driver.
“For Mazda, driving is not just about moving from one place to another. It's about creating an emotional bond and a pleasant and meaningful experience,” said Viya Arsawireja, Marketing & Communications General Manager of EMI at GIIAS 2025.
She further stated that the collaboration between Mazda and Oaken Lab is in line with the philosophy of the Japanese manufacturer.
Oaken Lab is trusted to deliver a unique driving experience, especially through the sensory dimension with perfume fragrances.
“This is one of our ways to provide a deeper and more memorable driving experience for our customers,” Viya added.
For your information, Oaken and Mazda are introducing two signature scents: Monko and Temple Moss, in the form of a scent tag.
Created to depict the nuances of tranquility and the beauty of the Japanese landscape, thus strengthening the emotional dimension in every journey.
The two scents above are not only designed to stimulate the sense of smell, but also to evoke memories in every journey.
They also create a relaxing atmosphere and enrich the journey through an emotional touch.
It should be noted that Monko is inspired by the intimate atmosphere of a Japanese listening bar in Tokyo. Meanwhile, Temple Moss depicts the spiritual tranquility of a temple in the Land of the Rising Sun combined with the meditative energy of Ubud, Bali.
“Oaken always starts from a story and a journey. Each of our scents is born from a specific atmosphere and place,” said Cynthia Wirjono, Founder of Oaken Lab, The Goods Dept & Brightspot Market.
She also hopes that both perfumes will be well-received by Mazda car users in Indonesia.
“The same goes for Monko and Temple Moss. Both represent a very personal and emotional experience that we feel is in line with Mazda's philosophy,” she concluded.
