New Year, MG Offers Exciting Promotions on Two Flagship Products

KatadataOTO – MG brought several of its flagship models to IIMS 2025 (Indonesia International Motor Show) today. One of them is the MG 4 EV xPower.
Uniquely, this time MG is partnering with the Arsenal FC football club as their official partner. The collaboration is realized through the presence of the MG 4 EV xPower with a sporty Arsenal livery.
“We are bringing a special design to consumers, a Heritage of Innovation. There is the MG 4 EV xPower with the Arsenal FC livery,” said He Guowei, Chief Operating Officer of MG Motor Indonesia at JIExpo Kemayoran, Thursday (12/2).
A series of collaborations are also being carried out to continue introducing MG's line of environmentally friendly vehicles in Indonesia.
Interested visitors can go directly to the MG booth. There are various attractive promos offered during the exhibition period, especially for electric car purchase transactions.
“Last year we reached our best milestone; two EV models were locally assembled as a form of our commitment. We also have the Cyberster EV, and then reached a sales record of 4,000 units (in 2024), a 300 percent growth from the previous year,” he affirmed.
For your information, previously MG actually brought the MG3 Hybrid+ to the automotive exhibition in 2024. However, it was only as an introduction, and the sales team had not yet opened orders.
Its size is smaller than the MG VS Hybrid which is already marketed in Indonesia, similar to a gasoline-engine hatchback like the Honda City Hatchback.
For a rough comparison, the dimensions of the MG3 Hybrid+ are 4,113 mm x 1,797 mm x 1,502 mm, slightly shorter than the City Hatchback at 4,349 mm x 1,748 mm x 1,488 mm, with a 2,600 mm wheelbase.
The MG3 Hybrid+ was launched in Thailand in August 2024 and is locally assembled there. There was a special price offered in the range of 559,000 baht-599,900 baht or around Rp 250 million in rupiah currency.
Speaking of specifications, there are two types offered, namely SE and Trophy. Both use the same 1.5L capacity engine equipped with hybrid technology and a 1.83 kWh NCM (Lithium Nickel Manganese) battery.
Its performance is capable, claimed to be able to produce 260 hp and accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just eight seconds.
News of the MG3 Hybrid+'s arrival actually strengthened after the model was frequently brought by MG to national automotive exhibitions.
