New KIA Sonet and New Seltos Unveiled at GIIAS 2025

KatadataOTO – PT Kreta Indo Artha (KIA) presents the refreshed Sonet and Seltos at GIIAS 2025. Each model receives new touches and supports mobility.

At the annual automotive exhibition, Kia is displaying its complete product lineup. The South Korean brand offers everything from electric vehicles to stylish SUVs.

It is hoped that this will provide attractive options for visitors.

New Kia Sonet and Seltos enter the country as an answer to the mobility needs of the urban community. Urban consumers are said to have diverse desires.

“We are presenting the New Kia Sonet to answer the need for modern and expressive mobility. It's not just a means of transportation, but a part of its user's identity,” said Theodorus Prawirohardjo, Sales Operation Area for KIA, in a press release quoted (01/08).

The new Kia Sonet is marketed in two variant options, namely Ultimate and Premiere. Both types come with a more modern and dynamic exterior design.

At the front, Kia's identity is visible, such as the new Tiger Nose grille. There are also new LEDs and DRL star map lamps, as well as LED fog lamps.

Then there are the new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. This wheel design reinforces an elegant and sporty impression.

Then at the rear, a new rear skid plate bumper and new rear lamps are included.

Specifically for the Ultimate variant, there is a spoiler and a rear fog lamp. Adding a fresh impression to the vehicle's appearance.

Inside the cabin, there is a new design for the high-gloss black air vents. There is also a new center panel design, as well as features like wireless charging and a USB-C charging port.

For entertainment, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features are included. Audio output is entrusted to a BOSE Premium Sound System with 7 speakers.

The New Kia Seltos comes with a powerful turbo engine option. It also features ADAS safety technology, along with a spacious and modern interior.

This SUV enters Indonesia with two variant options, namely the Seltos Premiere 1.5 turbo. A combination of a turbo engine and a 7-speed DCT transmission.

There is also a new Kia Seltos with a combination of a turbo engine and an 8-speed IVT transmission. The result is a fuel-efficient car.
