New Wuling Alvez Launches at GJAW 2025, Price Remains Competitive

KatadataOTO – The new Wuling Alvez was officially launched at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) 2025. The five-seater car received several changes, especially in its appearance.

This development is claimed to have been adapted to the needs of customers in the country.

“We designed this refresh to answer the main preferences of consumers in the compact SUV segment. All these refreshments are packaged in one concept: It’s All You Need,” said Danang Wiratmoko, Product Communication Manager of Wuling Motors.

Changes were made to both the exterior and interior. This is intended to prevent customers from getting bored with the model.

From the exterior, for example, the Wuling Alvez has been equipped with a newly designed grille, giving it a sporty impression. Meanwhile, the LED projector headlamps with Daytime Running Light (DRL) and 16-inch alloy wheels are still retained.

Entering the cabin, the vehicle's interior is designed to feel more elegant and premium. Wuling has installed a soft-touch dashboard, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and red stitching accents.

The car is now also equipped with a 10.25-inch head unit with smartphone interconnection connected to 4 speakers throughout the cabin. The rear camera is equipped with a dynamic trajectory, and a rear parking sensor is also present to make parking easier for the driver.

A 7-inch TFT instrument panel is also available, providing a modern and easy-to-read driving information display.

A number of safety technologies have also been included, such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). It includes several features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Traffic Jam Assistance.

“Other safety features from the previous model are also retained. These include airbags, ISOFIX, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ABS, EBD, AVH, ESS, Hill Hold Control (HHC), and TPMS,” he added.

The Wuling Alvez is equipped with a 1,500cc engine capable of producing 105 hp and 143 Nm of torque.
