KatadataOTO – PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), the distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso, has made significant investments in Indonesia. They have been doing this for 55 years in various ways.
One of their mainstays is the complete ecosystem they have built. Thanks to this, public trust in their products can be maintained.
Vehicle assembly is carried out by PT Krama Yudha Ratu Motor (KRM) and PT Mitsubishi Krama Yudha Motors and Manufacturing (MKM). Both produce the Canter and Fighter X for domestic needs.
In the process, they are supported by 100 local supplier companies as spare parts providers. This facility is a form of technology transfer to strengthen the national automotive industry.
“For 55 years, we have created job opportunities for thousands of Indonesians, both directly at this facility and throughout the entire ecosystem network,” said Aji Jaya, Sales and Marketing Director of PT KTB.
It should be noted that they have 226 Mitsubishi Fuso dealerships. This number has reached 170 cities and 33 provinces throughout Indonesia.
The large number of dealerships makes it easier for the company to sell its products. It was recorded that they successfully sold 20,295 units from January to October 2025.
That amount is enough for it to capture 3.1 percent of the total domestic market. They also rank as the seventh-largest vehicle manufacturer in Indonesia.
Of that total, October was the month with the highest sales compared to other months, reaching 2,387 units in retail sales.
In addition to retail sales, they also recorded significant results in wholesale sales from January to October 2025. The company successfully shipped 20,263 units from the factory to dealerships.
The highest number of shipments occurred in September 2025 with 2,425 units successfully shipped, while in the following month the figure slightly decreased to 2,324 units.
In terms of wholesale, Mitsubishi Fuso also ranks as the seventh-largest manufacturer in Indonesia. They control at least 3.2 percent of the total domestic market.
This number is expected to continue to increase in the future along with the rise in vehicle purchases.
