Suzuki Fronx Claimed to Have 30,000 Interested Buyers and 1,500 Orders

KatadataOTO – Suzuki Fronx first appeared in the Indonesian automotive market on May 28, 2025. PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) immediately set an average sales target of 2,000 units per month.

In less than a month, PT SIS claims to have attracted 30 thousand interested parties or those who have seriously expressed their interest. Meanwhile, the official number of orders has almost reached the average monthly sales target.

"The latest update, the total SPK (Vehicle Order Form) has reached 1,500 units, with the most orders coming from the Jabodetabek area. This positive response is in line with our expectations, and we are optimistic that orders will continue to increase," said Harold Donnel Tampubolon, 4W Marketing Director of PT SIS. 

He also added that of the total SPK, 66 percent or nearly 1,000 units were for the highest variant, the SGX. This was followed by the GX variant, with orders of 23 percent or around 345 units.

It should be noted that the Suzuki Fronx comes in several variants. The highest type is the SGX, which has a special color added, namely Ice Grayish Blue.

Entering the cabin, Suzuki has made the interior look elegant thanks to the use of synthetic leather and fabric, complemented by glossy black, silver, and chrome accents.

The K15C engine with a 1,500 cc displacement, supported by mild hybrid technology, has been embedded in the SGX and GX types. The power produced is 99.2 hp with 135 Nm of torque.

If you want to buy the Suzuki Fronx SGX type, it should be noted that there is no manual transmission option. The MT (Manual Transmission) option is only available in the GX variant.

The lowest type is the GL. Like the GX, it has automatic or manual transmission variations, but the SHVS hybrid technology is absent in the GL.

In terms of interior design, the Suzuki Fronx GL appears simpler but remains attractive thanks to the dominance of black and burgundy colors.

The engine in the Suzuki Fronx GL is a different type from the SGX and GX, coded K15B, but the capacity remains 1,500 cc. Interestingly, its performance is greater than the variants above it, at 103 hp and a peak torque of 138 Nm.
