Jetour T2 is still being prepared for its entry into the Indonesian market, targeting active individuals who want to stand out.
KatadataOTO – Jetour Motor Indonesia is still making preparations to introduce its newest products in the country. At least two new models will liven up the domestic roads.
At the GIIAS 2025 event, the Jetour T2 and X20e were presented to the public for the first time. Both vehicles have their own unique appeal to exhibition visitors.
The right-hand drive Jetour T2 is said to be launching globally from Indonesia. This car is said to target active individuals who want to stand out.
“We design every product with a vision of mobility that transcends geographical and emotional boundaries, thereby providing true freedom of exploration,” said Moch Ranggy Radiansyah, Marketing Director of Jetour Motor Indonesia, at ICE BSD (26/07).
The Jetour T2 is a boxy SUV that gives a strong and tough impression. Thus, it can boost the confidence of its users.
It was mentioned that the Jetour T2 is also flexible for modification according to lifestyle. This allows the vehicle to remain stylish despite its rugged appearance.
Indonesia itself was chosen as the launch location for the first right-hand drive version due to its great potential.
“Indonesia plays an important role in Jetour's global expansion because there is market demand. Indonesia is trusted to be the first for the world debut,” said Ranggy.
Furthermore, it was explained that Indonesia is the country most prepared to welcome the arrival of the Jetour T2. Compared to other right-hand drive countries.
Despite its tough appearance, the Jetour T2 was developed using special materials. Thus, it can be ensured to be more fuel-efficient.
Categorized as a D-class SUV, the Jetour T2 is equipped with a Kunpeng Power 2.0 TGDI gasoline engine. This powertrain is paired with an XWD (X Wheel Drive) system.
The technology above provides full flexibility between 2WD and 4WD automatically. This gives the vehicle capability on all challenging road terrains.
Then there is an intelligent torque manager feature and a smart differential lock system. Users can more easily conquer sand, mud, or rocky paths without losing control.
Globally, the Jetour T2 has sold 200,000 units to date. This figure represents a significant achievement in the international market.
