KatadataOTO – Volkswagen Indonesia is holding a roadshow to introduce their newest product, the ID. Buzz Long Wheelbase. This event will be held at various strategic locations in Jakarta, including office buildings and shopping centers.

At the event, various facilities have been prepared to attract public interest, such as an AI Photobooth. Additionally, they are also offering Official Volkswagen Merchandise to visitors.

“We want to get closer to the community. This car is not just a vehicle but also a part of a modern lifestyle that prioritizes comfort, sustainability, and creativity,” said Ahmad Badawi, Head of Sales & Marketing at PT Garuda Mataram Motor.

It was previously reported that the ID.Buzz LWB was officially launched in Indonesia at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025. The manufacturer claims that this car comes with a classic design inspired by previous models.

The Volkswagen ID.Buzz LWB is equipped with a considerable length of 4,962 mm and a wheelbase of 3,239 mm. Thanks to this, the cabin space can be made more spacious, enhancing passenger comfort.

Not only that, the first-row seats are also equipped with several features such as Memory, Massage, and Heater. Then, to accompany the journey, the manufacturer has added a premium Harman Kardon audio system with 12+1 speakers.

To facilitate entry and exit, Powered Sliding Doors and a Kick Sensor for the side doors and tailgate are available.

The Volkswagen ID. Buzz LWB is equipped with an 86 kWh capacity battery, sufficient for a journey of up to 487 km. This power is used to operate an electric motor producing 281 hp and 560 Nm of torque.

Thanks to this, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in 7.9 seconds. Meanwhile, its maximum speed is 160 km/h.

The Volkswagen ID.Buzz LWB is priced at Rp 1.495 billion, including various benefits. Starting from a 4-year or 100,000 km warranty (2+2 years), an HV battery warranty of up to 8 years or 160,000 km, and free maintenance for 5 years or 100,000 km.

Customers are also entitled to a free 11 kW wall charger, making it easier for them to charge at home.
