KatadataOTO – Parts of Jakarta were once again submerged by floods on Tuesday (08/07) morning. This was due to heavy rainfall since Monday afternoon.

In fact, according to the records of the Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPDB), the floodwaters have continued to expand.

“As of 06:00 AM WIB, flooding has occurred in 46 RTs,” said Isnawa Adji, Chief Executive of the Jakarta BPDB, as quoted by Antara.

According to Isnawa, the Jakarta floods initially only affected 35 RTs. However, it continued to expand as several rivers overflowed.

The water level in this Jakarta flood varies. Ranging from 30 cm to 1.3 meters in several locations.
