KatadataOTO – Wuling Motors (Wuling) held the Aftersales Skill Contest 2025 to improve the quality of its after-sales service. This annual event was held at their factory located in Cikarang, West Java on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
This after-sales service contest carries the theme ‘Worry Free: Fix it First Time’. This theme reflects Wuling's spirit of providing peace of mind and a sense of security for customers through quality, fast, and caring service.
“Aftersales has a strategic role in building customer trust in Wuling. We believe that the synergy between the manufacturing and after-sales service teams is the key for customers to get the best experience,” said Arif Pramadana, Vice President of Wuling Motors.
It should be noted that the Wuling Aftersales Skill Contest 2025 is an annual event for all after-sales personnel to compete. A total of 228 participants took part in 4 class categories, namely Service Advisor, Customer Care Officer, ICE Technician, and EV Technician.
The competition began in May 2025, through a national pre-qualification selection stage based on an online training system. Participants then followed two national selection stages which included theory exams and technical case studies.
The 90 participants with the highest scores advanced to the second national selection stage which was conducted online. From the results of this assessment, the 60 best participants were selected to proceed to the Dealer Group Selection stage.
At the Dealer Group Selection stage, each dealer will conduct a training camp to improve the technical and service competencies of the participants. At this stage, the 30 best participants will advance to the Final Contest which will be held live at the Wuling factory in Cikarang.
In the final round, the finalists were tested through real-work simulations and role play. Starting from handling customer problems for Service Advisors and Customer Care Officers, customer service interviews, to technical tests of ICE and EV vehicles for technicians.
Wuling then determined 12 national winners, consisting of three winners in each of the Service Advisor, Customer Care Officer, ICE Technician, and EV Technician categories.
“We congratulate the 12 winners of the competition. The Aftersales Skill Contest is a tangible form of Wuling's commitment to honing skills and instilling a work culture oriented towards customer satisfaction,” concluded Maulana Hakim, Aftersales Director of Wuling Motors.
