KatadataOTO – Xpeng has started taking orders for their newest MPV, the X9, in China. The soon-to-be-launched vehicle is sold at prices ranging from 359,800 to 419,800 yuan (Rp 826.5 million to Rp 964.3 million).

This means the newest Xpeng X9 is priced 40,000 yuan or about Rp 91.8 million more expensive than the 2024 model. The significant price difference is due to the numerous updates made by the Chinese manufacturer.

No less than 496 components have been updated. Therefore, the manufacturer claims the price difference is still reasonable.

Reporting from CarNewsChina, the 2025 Xpeng X9 still has a similar appearance to its predecessor. The manufacturer only added new color and wheel options to give it a fresh look.

However, there are a few things that need attention. The manufacturer no longer uses LiDAR technology as it has been replaced with an ADAS system similar to the Xpeng G6 and G9.

In terms of dimensions, the Xpeng X9 has no changes, with a length of 5,293 mm, a width of 1,988 mm, a height of 1,785 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. Despite its large size, they claim the car remains aerodynamic.

Inside the cabin, the Xpeng X9 has a 2+2+3 configuration. In the second-row seats, passengers can also enjoy an optional 16-point massage feature.

Not only that, there is also a 21.4-inch monitor for second-row passengers. They claim this screen is the largest in its class.

To make the journey more comfortable, the manufacturer has added a 10.8-liter refrigerator. A 220V power outlet, dual 50W wireless charging pads, and a folding table are also available.

The base variant is equipped with a rear-wheel electric motor that produces 315 hp. Meanwhile, the 4WD type has more power at 496 hp.

Although the battery capacity was not disclosed, the manufacturer claims that on a full charge, the car can travel up to 740 km. This distance is believed to be sufficient to meet customers' driving needs.
