KatadataOTO – XPENG X9 was officially launched at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025. This locally assembled electric MPV is believed to be a new option for those who want a luxurious and comfortable car.

Interestingly, the car is available in three variants: Standard Range, Long Range Pro, and Long Range Pro+. All three have different advantages that can certainly be chosen according to the needs of customers in the country.

In terms of appearance, the XPENG X9 looks attractive with the presence of an LED DRL that stretches from left to right. Its main headlights are slim and already equipped with LED technology.

Moving to the side, the doors of the XPENG X9 are equipped with flush handles like modern EVs.

In general, the XPENG X9 has large dimensions with a length of 5,293 mm, a width of 1,988 mm, a height of 1,785 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. Thanks to this, the manufacturer has the freedom to design a larger and more comfortable cabin space.

Starship Universe Cockpit is the design language used by the XPENG X9. Various facilities have been embedded, such as a flagship driver's seat, a zero-gravity space sofa, and a 10-point massage with three different levels,

The XPENG X9 is also equipped with a Multi-color rhythmic LED Atmosphere Light, providing a comfortable ambiance inside the cabin. There is also a 21.1-inch home entertainment ecosystem screen, which is the largest in its class.

The car is also equipped with a 6.5-liter compressor refrigerator. Thanks to this, passengers can keep food and drinks cold even on long journeys.

The performance of the XPENG X9 cannot be underestimated, as the manufacturer has equipped it with an electric motor producing 496 hp and a peak torque of 640 Nm.

Two battery options are available with capacities of 84.5 kWh and 101.5 kWh. They can be used to travel distances of 610 km and 720 km, respectively.

To ensure driving comfort, the XPENG X9 uses a 5-mode intelligent air suspension, making the car more comfortable to use.

Various safety features have been embedded, such as an anti-lock braking system, brake assist, electronic brake distribution, vehicle stability control, emergency stop signal, and a 360-degree camera.

XPENG now has two 3S dealerships located in PIK 2 and Puri. In the near future, the network will be expanded to Pluit, Pondok Indah, Sunter, and BSD.

And there are plans for expansion to other major cities such as Surabaya, Bali, Medan, and Makassar.
