KatadataOTO – Alva Auto has been marketing its various electric motorcycles to consumers in Indonesia. Ranging from the One, Cervo to the N3.
This EV (Electric Vehicle) manufacturer is trying to spread its wings. They claim to be ready to enliven the global market for environmentally friendly two-wheeled vehicles.
“We want to (export), we are currently carrying out the certification and homologation process,” said Putu Swaditya Yudha, Chief Marketing Officer of Alva in Cikarang, West Java some time ago.
Putu stated that Alva is currently finalizing several strategies to ship their electric motorcycles.
Such as studying whether they want to export directly or collaborate with local distributors in the destination country.
In addition, Alva is also mapping out which countries will be their destination for selling electric motorcycles.
According to Putu, there are already several countries that will be the destination for this manufacturer. However, he is still hesitant to reveal them.
“(The plan is) for several markets, perhaps Southeast Asia is the closest. Then we also want to go to Europe,” said Putu.
By doing so, Putu hopes Alva can expand their electric motorcycle market, so they can attract more consumers.
Moreover, electric two-wheeled vehicles are currently popular with many people. This creates an opportunity for Alva to ship its products to the blue continent (Europe).
“We will offer all Alva (electric motorcycle) models,” Putu affirmed.
To support its desire to export electric motorcycles, Alva already has a production facility in the Cikarang area, West Java. The factory is claimed to implement industry 4.0.
For your information, the Alva factory consists of several sections. The first is the production line and assembly area.
This facility has used AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) technology. There are robots that will bring electric motorcycle components to the assembly area.
The second is the logistics or warehouse parts section. It is used to store all Alva electric motorcycle spare parts.
From the frame, tires, batteries, rims to the drive motor are stored or neatly arranged there.
The third is the finishing room for placing the assembled electric two-wheeled vehicles, which are then ready for final quality control.
In the final stage, the Alva Cervo, One, and N3 produced there are ready to be sent to consumers' garages.
