KatadataOTO – Basuki Hadimuljono, Head of the Nusantara Capital City Authority (IKN) became one of the victims of the Bekasi flood. This was seen in a video showing him wading through the flood on his motorcycle.

Although he was on it, the engine of the green two-wheeled vehicle was not turned on. He was assisted by a colleague behind him pushing the motorcycle towards a location deemed safer.

We received information that the video was recorded by a resident in Kemang Pratama, Bekasi, West Java. The complex is indeed one of the areas quite severely affected by the flood.

Reporting from Antara, the flood hit seven sub-districts at once, namely East Bekasi, North Bekasi, South Bekasi, Medan Satria, Jatiasih, Pondok Gede, and Rawalumbu Sub-district.

In East Bekasi, there were three flood points including Gang Mawar RT 8 RW 3 with a water level of three meters, Gang Semar RT 4 RW 4 at a depth of 70 cm, and Kampung Lengkak RT 04 RW 8 reaching 80 cm.

Then in North Bekasi, there was Kampung Lebak where the water depth reached 180 cm.

The flood in South Bekasi hit three points, namely Bumi Satria Kencana Housing at 110 cm, Jaka Kencana Housing with a depth of up to 3 meters, and Depnaker Housing at 150 cm.

Meanwhile, in Medan Satria Sub-district, the flood submerged residential areas in RT 1, 8, and 9 of RW 03, Kali Baru Village, at a height of 100 cm.
The worst flooding hit Jatiasih, starting from 120 centimeters in Bumi Nasio Indah Housing and 150 centimeters in Jatiluhur Housing, Buana Housing, and Graha Indah Housing, to more than three meters in Pondok Gede Permai (PGP) Housing and Villa Jatirasa.

The flood also submerged three points in the Pondok Gede Sub-district area, including Taman Bougenville Fajar Housing with a water level of 40 centimeters, the IKIP Lecturers' Complex at a depth of 155 centimeters, and Jatibening Permai Housing reaching 50 centimeters.

Finally, in three points in the Rawalumbu Sub-district area, including Taman Narogong Indah Housing at a height of 40 centimeters, Jembatan II Rawalumbu with a depth of 20 centimeters, and Kemang Pratama up to 50 centimeters.
