KatadataOTO – IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025 will open soon. AHM (Astra Honda Motor) seems to be preparing a new product.

According to the KatadataOTO team's observation at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta on Wednesday (12/02), there were two new motorcycles under wraps.

It is unclear what two-wheeled vehicle was brought by the manufacturer with the flapping wing logo.

However, at a glance, they resemble the EV Fun Concept and EV Urban Concept that were once displayed at EICMA 2024.

This can be seen from the shape of the electric two-wheeler's mirrors. It uses a bar-end model at the tip of the handlebars and has a rounded shape.

Furthermore, the rear wheel rim also looks similar. It is quite large and painted in black.

Then, the two new Honda electric motorcycles at IIMS 2025 have a bulky body. Very similar to the EV Fun Concept and EV Urban Concept.

Citing the official Honda Global website, the EV Fun Concept has a design like a sports bike, but the presence of the battery makes the lower part look solid.

The EV (Electric Vehicle) is claimed to offer a pleasant riding experience thanks to the absence of engine noise and minimal vibration due to the switch to an electric motor.

The Honda concept electric motorcycle uses a CCS2 charging type, supporting fast charging like in cars.

On a single charge, the EV Fun Concept is claimed to be able to travel up to 100 km or more. Making it suitable for use in urban areas.

Meanwhile, the second model, the EV Urban Concept, comes with a more familiar design, at a glance having a front look similar to the Honda PCX scooter.

Just like the previous electric motorcycle, it offers a futuristic design that also looks minimalist yet modern with a combination of black and white colors.

The EV Urban Concept can be said to be a preview of Honda's future large scooter designs. The Japanese manufacturer will equip the motorcycle with the latest technology such as HMI (Human-Machine Interface).

This two-wheeled vehicle targets various segments of Honda consumers, offering an environmentally friendly and functional mobility solution in the era of electrification.

Just a reminder, IIMS 2025 will open tomorrow, Thursday (13/02). The public can visit until the upcoming February 23.
