KatadataOTO – Astra Honda Motor (AHM) is once again spoiling big bike (moge) enthusiasts in Indonesia. As they have just refreshed the Honda CB650R.
The two-wheeled vehicle with a Neo Sport Cafe style looks even more dashing and premium. Additionally, it has been equipped with a number of the latest features.
"Thank you for the trust and support for the Honda CB650R," said Octavianus Dwi, Marketing Director of AHM, in an official statement on Friday (13/06).
Octa mentioned that the Honda CB650R has been equipped with the E-Clutch feature. Making it their first big bike with an electronic system.
Thus, it is believed to be able to enhance both comfort and flexibility in riding.
"By embedding the latest technology in this model, we remain committed to presenting a big bike that is flexible, stylish, and features various advanced innovations," continued Octa.
He further explained that the Honda E-Clutch makes it easy for riders to shift gears automatically.
So users no longer need to pull the clutch lever when starting a journey. This feature is fully supported electronically, much like an automatic transmission underbone motorcycle such as the Honda Supra X.
However, it still provides the option for the owner to pull the clutch lever manually if desired.
In addition to the features above, the Honda CB650R is also equipped with a five-inch TFT meter panel. Not to forget, it is also equipped with Honda RoadSync.
Honda RoadSync itself is a modern feature that allows the rider to control various functions through a smart device.
Thus, the Honda CB650R further prioritizes comfort and safety when exploring the roads.
Meanwhile, from a design perspective, the Honda CB650R gets a new touch on the headlight and taillight.
The bodywork has also been updated, made more compact and robust. Making the Honda CB650R's appearance even more macho.
At its heart, the Honda CB650R carries a 649 cc, 4-stroke, 16-valve DOHC inline four-cylinder engine. It is claimed to be able to produce up to 89.1 hp at 11,000 rpm
This Honda big bike is also equipped with the Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) feature to maintain rear-wheel traction.
Then there is also the Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) which activates the hazard lights when you brake suddenly.
The Honda CB6500R is offered in two color options, namely Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red.
If you are interested in owning one, the price of the Honda CB650R is around Rp 307.7 million on the road (OTR) Jakarta.
