Without Subsidies, Demand for Electric Motorcycles Could Rebound

Indomobil Emotor made its debut at IIMS 2025, immediately introducing their latest electric motorcycle, the Adora.

KatadataOTO – Indomobil Emotor participated for the first time in IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025. They immediately brought their new electric motorcycle, the Adora.
The presence of this EV (Electric Vehicle) is meant to entice visitors at JIExpo, Kemayoran Jakarta throughout the exhibition.
“Adora is here to answer the need for modern mobility that is more efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly,” said Gerry Kertowidjojo, Director of PT Indomobil Emotor Internasional in an official statement.
Gerry said that they are determined to encourage the public to switch from conventional motorcycles to electric two-wheeled vehicles.
Then, to provide a better riding experience for consumers in the country. So they are displaying the Indomobil Emotor Adora at IIMS 2025.
“Not only does it offer quality performance, but together with Indomobil, we also offer installment options for Adora customers to purchase a new battery after the three-year warranty period ends,” Gerry continued.
For your information, the Indomobil Emotor Adora has a total weight of 150 kilograms. It has a length of 1,910 mm, a width of 564 mm, and a height of 1,110 mm.
The powertrain relies on an electric motor with 4 hp and 140 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 2.45 kWh Lithium battery.
It offers a range of up to 110 km on a single charge, with a maximum speed of 75 km/h.
For the suspension, it is equipped with a telescopic suspension at the front. Meanwhile, the rear uses a dual shock type.
It should be noted that the Indomobil Emotor Adora is sold in several color options, ranging from Gunmetal Grey, Angelic White, Sakura Blossom, Ocean Blue, Galaxy Black, and Mint Green
Meanwhile, the price of the Indomobil Emotor Adora electric motorcycle is Rp 24.5 million for the Basic type. While the Livery variant is sold for Rp 24.9 million.
On the other hand, Indomobil Emotor is ready to expand its dealer network to 200 locations throughout 2025. They will also prepare a training center to ensure optimal after-sales service.
This step is in line with the Indomobil Group's commitment to building a sustainable electric vehicle ecosystem.
In addition, the Indomobil Group is also collaborating with various parties. For example, IMFI, Adira, BNI, Mandiri, Danamon, and BCA.
This will make it easier to own an Adora, while also creating synergy with EV communities like the Electric Bicycle or Motorcycle Community (KOSMIK Indonesia).
