KatadataOTO – Yadea Velax officially launched at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, promising a variety of attractive advantages. It's no surprise that the Chinese manufacturer is confident its model will be well-received by the public.
The Yadea Velax will target consumers who need an electric motorcycle to meet their daily mobility needs.
“The Yadea Velax is a revolution in mobility. With smart technology, we want to provide a smarter, more practical, and energy-efficient riding experience for consumers,” said Wang Jia Zhong, Senior Vice President of Yadea Technology Group, some time ago.
In terms of design, it actually resembles models from Japanese manufacturers, making it quite familiar. The motorcycle is also equipped with LEDs whose beams can reach up to 62 meters.
To meet riding needs, the motorcycle is connected to the Yadea AiGo application. Thanks to this, the driver can control the vehicle through the app and find the motorcycle's location with the GPS feature.
Not only that, the vehicle owner can also check the battery status. This way, it is hoped that the rider will not run out of power in the middle of the road.
During the launch, it was announced that the model comes in three variants, distinguished by their battery capacity.
The base variant is the Yadea Velax E, which is equipped with a 72v38Ah Graphene Battery, allowing it to travel up to 75 km on a single charge.
Meanwhile, the Yadea Velax H is fitted with a 72V30Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery. Thanks to this, the motorcycle can travel up to 65 km.
Then, the Yadea Velax U uses two 74V28Ah Ternary Lithium Batteries. Thanks to this, the motorcycle is capable of traveling up to 110 Km.
In addition to the many type options available, customers can also have more peace of mind during the rainy season. The manufacturer claims that the Yadea Velax has met IPX7 certification, so it remains safe even when riding through puddles.
