KatadataOTO – The government still does not recommend homecoming trips using motorcycles. This is because it poses a significant danger during the journey.
Based on the fact above, AHM (Astra Honda Motor) is trying to provide a solution for its loyal customers.
They are holding a routine event titled MBBH (Mudik Balik Bareng Honda) 2025. This year, the Japanese manufacturer successfully dispatched a total of 2,572 participants.
All of these loyal Honda customers were transported to two different cities, namely Yogyakarta and Semarang, Central Java.
With the details being 1,629 travelers heading to the 'City of Gudeg'. Meanwhile, 943 other people were transported to 'Venetia Van Java'.
On this occasion, they used 59 buses to transport customers, departing from the AHM office in Sunter, North Jakarta, on Friday (28/03)
“'Mudik Balik Bareng Honda' has become an event that our loyal customers look forward to every year,” said Antok Yuniarso, General Manager of HC3 (Honda Customer Care Center) at his office.
Antok stated that the program they are conducting is a tangible manifestation of the company's commitment to providing the best service to Honda motorcycle owners.
Moreover, a total of 1,112 two-wheeled vehicles belonging to the participants were also transported. This is so they can be used in their hometowns.
“Through this program, we hope the participants can enjoy a comfortable and safe homecoming journey,” he continued.
Then, Honda motorcycle owners can also meet with relatives or family members in their hometowns safe and sound.
On the other hand, as part of an effort to increase riding safety awareness, Honda also educated the joint homecoming participants through the #Cari_Aman campaign.
Since registration opened on February 15, 2025, participants have been briefed on the maximum number of passengers and luggage on a motorcycle.
And the importance of using proper riding gear for safety on the road.
Meanwhile, for the return trip after Eid 2025, AHM is also facilitating 22 buses for around 800 travelers who want to return to Jakarta.
The Japanese brand also provided 10 trucks to transport 400 motorcycles belonging to the customers.
As for the schedule, it will be held on April 6, 2025. The departure points will be at Astra Motor Yogyakarta and Astra Motor Central Java, heading to Jakarta.
