KatadataOTO – Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid has been officially on the market for a few months. The product is claimed to have received a positive response from the public.
Not only in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek). But also on the island of Bali.
“I think it's not just in Bali. It's growing nationwide as well,” said Hendra Wijaya, Chief of DDS Bali, in Denpasar a few days ago.
According to Hendra, the people on the Island of the Gods are now starting to favor the Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid.
So they are not just buying products from the Maxi Family line. Such as the Yamaha Nmax, Xmax, and Lexi.
And they are not solely focused on the Classy products. Like the Yamaha Fazzio or the Grand Filano Hybrid.
“You can see in the market what (the sales) are like. If you ask what's doing very well, it's the Gear Ultima,” Hendra continued.
Hendra further explained that the Japanese manufacturer is ready to meet the needs of the Balinese people who want to own their hybrid motorcycle.
It is even claimed that consumers who want to buy the Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid do not have to wait long.
“There are no issues (backorders) for all variants of the motorcycle. It just depends on how we coordinate,” Hendra affirmed.
Unfortunately, Hendra was reluctant to disclose the total sales figures for the Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid in Bali so far.
For your information, this automatic scooter features a rather sporty design. This is evident from the aggressive lines across its body.

As for performance, the Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid is powered by a 125 cc liquid-cooled BlueCore Hybrid engine.
The aforementioned powertrain is said to be capable of delivering up to 8.3 hp at 6,500 rpm. And a peak torque of up to 10.6 Nm at 4,500 rpm.
To pamper its owner, this Yamaha automatic scooter is equipped with various modern features. Such as SSS (Start Stop System), a smart gadget charging socket, and an answer-back system.
