Astra Honda Instructors Prove Competence in International Event

Three students successfully won awards at AHM Best Student 2025 for their environmental innovations.
KatadataOTO – PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) has once again held the AHM Best Student 2025 event, which seeks out young people to create innovations in various fields.
From the several students who made it to the finals, three managed to win the championship title thanks to their inventions.
It should be noted that 1,214 entries from 26 provinces were collected during the AHM Best Student 2025 event. They were then filtered down to 26 finalists, competing at the national level.
The judging for AHM Best Student involved several institutions such as PPM School of Management, Astra Polytechnic, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, and the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education.
First place was won by Refan Enggi Febrianto, from SMK Bhina Tunas Bhakti Juwana, Central Java.
He brought the Biodiesel Fish Oil (BFO) innovation by utilizing wastewater from fish boiling, to overcome the biosolar limitations of Juwana fishing boats.
Participation in AHM Best Student 2025 is also expected to pave the way for students to produce more innovations in the future.
“We hope their work can have a positive impact on society,” said Ahmad Muhibbudin, General Manager of Corporate Communication at PT AHM in Jakarta, on Friday (24/10).
The finalists not only received appreciation prizes. There was also an opportunity to visit the AHM factory in the GIIC Industrial Area, Deltamas City, Central Cikarang.
Additionally, there was safety riding education provided by AHM's safety riding instructors.
For your information, AHM Best Student gathers various talents at the Senior High School (SMA) level from all over Indonesia.
The program is expected to encourage students to produce work that can have a real impact in their respective residential environments.
The main focus is on issues developing in their surroundings, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In 2025, there are four main categories students can choose from: Education, Health, Economy, and Environment.
Participants must meet requirements such as a minimum report card score of 70, approval from their school, and then participate in regional and national selections.
Appreciation was given to the winners and the three best supervising teachers who played an important role in guiding the participants to refine their innovations.
