This exhibition is considered important as a driver for increasing automotive transactions towards the end of the year. Thus, it can stimulate the public to shop for new cars.

The Association of Indonesia Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) also intends to hold GJAW again in 2026.

This is because they received various positive feedback, both from visitors and manufacturers.

“With a positive spirit, Gaikindo informs that Permata Bank GJAW will be held again at the end of next year,” said Anton Kumonty, Daily Chairman and Chief Executive of GJAW 2025, some time ago.

Nevertheless, Anton ensures that Gaikindo will continue to innovate, such as by introducing various changes for GJAW 2026.

This is important to indulge national automotive enthusiasts, so it can attract their interest to shop.

“Gaikindo will continue to innovate and improve every aspect of the exhibition's organization to provide a better experience for all parties involved,” concluded Anton.

Gaikindo even has the opportunity to expand the exhibition area, so it can accommodate more vehicle products.

This way, there will be more diverse options of four-wheeled vehicles for the public to buy at the end of next year.

“Next year we will see the enthusiasm as well. The target will probably be bigger than the current one,” he continued.

Anton also signaled that the GJAW 2026 exhibition will still be held at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

“We hope to be able to use 10 halls, plus the Nusantara hall as well. But it depends on the enthusiasm of the public and the participants,” said Anton.

Sweet Achievements in 2025

For your information, Anton previously claimed that the number of visitors to GJAW 2025 was higher than in 2024.

Unfortunately, Anton did not specify in detail how many people attended GJAW 2025.

“Currently, the collection of transaction data from all participants is still ongoing. However, we have received a lot of positive feedback regarding the excellent transaction achievements,” he said.

As a reminder, GJAW 2024 recorded 145,788 visitors during its 10-day run.

Of course, the achievement in 2025 is inseparable from the presence of various new cars, such as the Toyota Veloz Hybrid, Changan Lumin, and Deepal S07.

Not to be missed, the Jetour T2 was also marketed, followed by the Chery J6T, Lepas L8, Geely EX2, and the Suzuki Grand Vitara Minor Change.
