KatadataOTO – Repairs on the Jakarta Cikampek Toll Road are being carried out again. This effort is part of maintaining service standards and ensuring driving comfort.
The work is being done at several points simultaneously, so road users are advised to be careful.
"The work will be carried out at several points, but there will be no road closures," said Amri Sanusi, Senior Manager of Representative Office 1 at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), as reported by Antara.
He detailed that the first point of road repair is at Km 37+087 to Km 37+244 in lanes 1 and 2 towards Cikampek. The work will begin on Saturday (23/08) at 08:00 WIB and last until Thursday (28/08) at 11:00 WIB.
"Then on Sunday (24/08) at 16:00 WIB until Monday (25/08) at 06:00 WIB, there will be road reconstruction on the Cikunir On-Ramp towards Cikampek in lane 2," he added.
Then from Monday (25/08) at 08:00 WIB until Saturday (30/08) at 08:00 WIB, several works will take place simultaneously. The locations are at Km 32+646 to Km 32+523, Km 32+505 to Km 32+478, and Km 32+448 to Km 32+362 in lanes 1 and 2 towards Jakarta.
Although there are no closures, the numerous repairs should be a special concern for road users. This is because it is not impossible for severe traffic congestion to occur.
"We are deploying officers, managing traffic flow around the location, narrowing the work area, and preparing for a contraflow if needed. Coordination with the Highway Patrol Police is also being carried out to maintain smooth traffic flow," said Ria Marlinda Paallo, VP of Corporate Secretary & Legal at PT JTT.
Therefore, the company has socialized the work plan through informational banners and Dynamic Message Signs in both directions of the Jakarta Cikampek Toll Road. The goal is for the repair information to be received by road users.
"We apologize for the inconvenience caused and urge road users to manage their travel time, ensure their vehicles are in prime condition, have sufficient electronic money balance, and fill up on fuel and device power before departing," he concluded.
