KatadataOTO – The use of Electric Vehicles (EV) in Indonesia has been quite massive lately. Used both personally and by companies.
For this reason, Kalista is collaborating with Xapiens to cater to the owners of motorcycles and electric cars.
They are working together to create an application called K-Move. It functions to provide all information regarding the consumer's EV.
"Inside K-Move, there are many features. Then there is productivity that can be seen from each unit," said Albert Aulia Ilyas, President Director of Kalista in the Senayan area, Jakarta today, Thursday (21/08).
Albert explained that Kalista consumers can see how far their EV has traveled. And how many kilometers the vehicle travels each day.
Then, the amount of emissions from their vehicle that has been successfully reduced. So it can be known whether the desired target has been reached or not.
"Not to forget, there is live tracking, print detail, and print history if you want to see (data) for a certain month or year," continued Albert.
K-Move is also claimed to help EV riders to find out whether there are operational errors or not.
Furthermore, it can notify when a consumer's electric vehicle goes outside the predetermined route. This way, you can prevent theft.
"There will be an alert that appears to give a warning to our operational team, so we can inform the consumer if their vehicle has gone outside the designated area," Albert added.
With the presence of K-Move, Kalista hopes to make it easier for EV users. Especially for business owners in the country.
Like when you want to report the vehicle's condition. So everything can be done digitally and more easily relying on existing smart devices.
"Everything is inside (K-Move), it can become a report for the needs of, for example, supply chain, logistics, or anyone to make decisions," Albert affirmed.
On the other hand, the presence of K-Move, a collaboration between Kalista and Xapiens, is expected to encourage the public to switch from conventional vehicles to EVs.
Especially for business owners in Indonesia who want to use electric cars or motorcycles. And contribute to the effort of reducing vehicle emissions.
"Everything is controlled by Kalista, so this is a form of not only presenting a solution, but we also help maintain and provide any analysis if needed from the consumer's side," Albert concluded his statement.
