KatadataOTO – Some time ago, social media was stirred by a convoy of luxury cars on the Kunciran Toll Road, Serpong on Sunday (17/08).
The convoy, which consisted of various supercars, had a fatal accident. It caused significant losses, as a Lamborghini Murcielago was wrecked.
Reporting from the TikTok account @Vanndev today, Tuesday (19/08), a white Lamborghini was seen with its front end destroyed.
According to several sources, the Italian car was driven by a 37-year-old man with the initials ES.
Initially, ES and his colleagues were in a convoy from the direction of Benda towards Serpong. He was allegedly driving his car at high speed.
Upon reaching KM 15.2000 of the Kunciran Toll Road towards Serpong, the Lamborghini swerved and lost control. It then hit the guardrail on the left side of the road.
The driver then swerved to the right and hit the road barrier. As a result, the supercar was completely wrecked.
The vehicle owners in the convoy immediately got out to check the condition of the Lamborghini Murcielago.
Unfortunately, the exact cause of why the four-wheeled vehicle from the Land of Pizza lost control and was involved in the accident is not yet known.
On the other hand, the incident prompted comments from some people. Such as from Jusri Pulubuhu, Founder of Jakarta Defensive Driving Consulting (JDDC).
“Indeed, the dimensions, price, brand, sound of the vehicle, and profile of a car can sometimes affect our psychology,” Jusri told KatadaOTO some time ago.
Jusri noted that supercar owners are usually synonymous with speed when driving their cars.
They want to appear superior to other drivers. This condition greatly influences them when driving on the highway.
“So, these psychological values are heavily influenced by the existing cognitive situation. For example, if they are happy, stressed, or under pressure, it will change a person when they are on the road,” he said.
Furthermore, Jusri stated that everyone who drives a motorcycle or car should be safety-oriented.
In addition, it is mandatory to prioritize traffic ethics. Thus understanding what must be done while on the highway.
By doing so, the risk of a fatal accident, which can happen to anyone at any time, can be minimized.
“On the road, it’s not about (relying on) skills, but knowledge that includes attitude,” Jusri concluded.
