KatadataOTO – The automotive exhibition GIIAS 2025 is just days away. A number of preparations are claimed to be complete and ready to be held.

It's interesting because this event is said to be welcoming a number of new brands. It has even been stated to have a record number of participants.

Taking place at ICE BSD, Tangerang, GIIAS 2025 will feature more than 60 global automotive brands. As a result, the event is guaranteed to be even more crowded.

“We have seen significant investment figures in the last five years. GIIAS will be the main stage to show that the Indonesian automotive industry continues to grow and is ready to develop,” said Yohannes Nangoi, Chairman of Gaikindo in Jakarta (06/18).

Not only the emergence of new brands, but the arrival of brand-new models is also worth waiting for at this exhibition.

Launches from each brand are one of the main attractions of GIIAS 2025. Accompanied by the emergence of the latest technology that makes driving easier.

During the GIIAS 2025 press conference yesterday, a number of brands announced new models. This will add to the excitement of the annual event.

“A number of brands will showcase their latest models, ranging from Indonesia Premieres to World Premieres,” Nangoi later said.

Not only launching, but several manufacturers will also display concept cars and exhibition-only models.

Here is the List of New Cars at GIIAS 2025

  • BAIC

BAIC Indonesia has confirmed it will launch the BJ30 Hybrid at GIIAS 2025.

  • BMW

BMW promises to exhibit 4 new models at GIIAS 2025. One of the models to be introduced is the iX.

  • BYD

BYD Motor Indonesia has confirmed it will bring two exhibition cars, the YangWang U9 and the Denza Z9 GT. Meanwhile, they will launch one new model, which is suspected to be the BYD Seagull.

  • Chery

Chery is confirmed to be presenting a new model at GIIAS 2025. They will also introduce their sub-brand, Lepas.

  • Citroen and Jeep

Under the Stellantis Brand House, this group revealed that it will present one new model from Jeep.

Meanwhile, Citroen will display two special units for exhibition.

  • DFSK & Seres

This Chinese brand is said to be announcing the price for the Seres 3 model.

  • Ford

Returning to the GIIAS 2025 stage, Ford has stated it is ready to present a special unit. There will also be a modified vehicle and finally, the presence of their legendary sedan.
