KatadataOTO – IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025 has officially opened. Maka Motor made its debut at the exhibition.

They showcased their flagship electric motorcycle, the Maka Cavalry, at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

“Public enthusiasm for the Maka Cavalry has been very high since its launch,” said Raditya Wibowo, CEO & Founder of Maka Motors on Thursday (13/02).

Raditya revealed that they intentionally brought the EV (Electric Vehicle). This was done so that the public could become more familiar with this product.

Moreover, public interest in electric two-wheeled vehicles in the country continues to grow.

“Our presence at IIMS 2025 is an important step to introduce the Maka Cavalry more widely, while also strengthening our position in the Indonesian automotive industry,” he continued.

For your information, the Maka Cavalry comes with an attractive design that resembles a gasoline-powered motorcycle.

Its appearance is quite modern, especially on the front side, thanks to the inclusion of a Projector LED lamp, making it more aggressive.

Meanwhile, discussing the dimensions of the Maka electric motorcycle, it has a length of 1,922 mm, a width of 731 mm, and a height of 1,173 mm. The ground clearance reaches 140 mm.

It is worth noting that the Maka Cavalry uses a 4 kWh capacity battery, sufficient to travel up to 160 km on a single charge.

Making it more interesting, the power storage has an IP67 certification, making it safe even when crossing puddles up to 60 cm deep.

Charging is also claimed not to take long. Because from zero to 80 percent, it only takes 60 minutes.

Although it has a long range, its performance is designed to remain optimal as it can produce 12 hp of power and 242 Nm of torque.

Its acceleration is also quite capable, reaching 60 km per hour in 4.8 seconds from a standstill, with a maximum speed of 105 km/h.

Consumers can already place orders for this electric two-wheeler there. IIMS 2025 will continue until February 23.
