Suzuki Fronx to be Marketed in Three Variants, Check the Differences

The similarity between the Suzuki Fronx GX and SGX is the engine. It uses the K15C engine combined with a mild hybrid technology system called SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki).

It is also paired with a six-speed conventional automatic transmission. However, the GX also offers a five-speed manual transmission option.

3. GL

The most affordable Suzuki Fronx variant is the GL. Upon closer inspection, there are several differences compared to its two siblings.

The most striking is in the interior; the Suzuki Fronx GL has a cabin with a black and burgundy color combination.

Furthermore, the instrument panel of this new Suzuki car is simpler. A Head-Up Display is also not available.

The next difference is that Suzuki Fronx GL buyers have to be content with a conventional ignition key to start the vehicle.

Finally, the Suzuki Fronx GL uses a different engine, the K15B. Although it is also 1,462 cc, it has more power.

It is claimed to produce a maximum power of up to 103 hp and a peak torque of 138 Nm.

Meanwhile, the K15C engine in the Suzuki Fronx SGX and GX only has 99.2 hp with a peak torque of 135 Nm.

It should be noted that the Suzuki Fronx GL is not equipped with SHVS technology like the other variants. It is also equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission (A/T).

Unfortunately, the Japanese brand has not yet provided any leaks regarding the price of the Suzuki Fronx that will be marketed to domestic consumers.
