This step was taken to boost electric motorcycle sales in the country, especially in difficult times like now.

“So we provide our own subsidy so the price remains competitive. Moreover, it's less hassle without the one ID card for one vehicle scheme," said Ilman Fachrian, Head of Product EV 2W Polytron Indonesia on a different occasion.

Meanwhile, Astra Honda Motor (AHM) does not want to be left behind in pampering domestic consumers.

The Japanese brand offers quite large discounts, reaching tens of millions, for buyers of the Honda CUV e: and EM1 e:.

Aismoli Gives Appreciation

On the other hand, Aismoli appreciates the efforts of manufacturers like Alva, Polytron, and AHM in recent times.

"I think with the current conditions, the creativity from each manufacturer is immense (like independent incentives)," Budi revealed.

Budi explained that the moves by Honda and Alva can pamper consumers, especially if they want to adopt electric motorcycles.

Thus, there are many options that can be chosen by domestic consumers, which can stimulate the public to use environmentally friendly two-wheeled vehicles.

"This means that to buy an electric motorcycle, (the public) gets different access from others," Budi emphasized.

Aismoli hopes that a similar approach can be followed by other manufacturers, thus maintaining competitiveness while the government's incentives are still unclear.
