As a result, tens of thousands of violators were caught by the Metro Jaya Regional Police Traffic Directorate, throughout the Jakarta area.

"In seven days, 20,760 two-wheeled violations were captured by ETLE cameras and 12,724 four-wheeled violators were captured by ETLE cameras," said Police Commissioner Komarudin, Director of Traffic for the Metro Jaya Regional Police on the official website of the National Police Traffic Corps, Wednesday (26/11).

In total, there were 33,484 motorcycle and car drivers caught during Operation Zebra Jaya 2025.

All were automatically recorded by the system, as they were seen violating various traffic rules.

Furthermore, he added that a detailed classification is still in the mapping process. However, the pattern of violations is already clear.

For motorcycles, the dominant violations were not wearing a helmet, driving against the flow of traffic, and not using a vehicle license plate.

The three types of violations above are the main focus of the Metro Jaya Regional Police. Because they have a direct impact on safety.

Meanwhile, for four-wheeled vehicles, the most prominent violation is the habit of drivers ignoring basic safety rules.

Komarudin emphasized that many drivers were caught by ETLE for not wearing seat belts.

For your information, Operation Zebra Jaya 2025 deployed nearly three thousand personnel from various elements for two weeks.
