KatadataOTO – BAIC BJ30 Hybrid officially launched, taking advantage of the GIIAS 2025 event. The boxy SUV is the first right-hand drive version in the world.

This makes the vehicle special in the country. It's no wonder that PT JIO Distribusi Indonesia, as the distributor of BAIC in the country, is offering a special price.

For the first 500 customers of the BAIC BJ30 Hybrid, the unit can be purchased for Rp 575 million for the AWD version.

Meanwhile, the FWD version is marketed at a price of Rp 529 million. Both prices are on-the-road Jakarta.

This special offer is only available during the GIIAS 2025 event. Unit deliveries can be made in October of this year.

The BAIC BJ30 Hybrid is said to be a tough SUV that combines cutting-edge technology. Besides its bold design, the vehicle's fuel consumption is considered efficient.

This car is offered in 7 attractive color options: Green, White, Blue, Black, Matte Grey, and Light Grey.

Entering the cabin, consumers will be treated to a stylish and functional interior atmosphere. There is a 10.25-inch LCD instrument screen combined with a 14.6-inch floating infotainment monitor.

In terms of engine capability, the BAIC BJ30 Hybrid is equipped with an engine coded A156T2H-H1 Magic Core Drive.

Equipped with a high-efficiency combustion system, 350-bar direct injection, and a separate cooling system, the car is believed to be able to produce capable power.

The transmission system relies on a highly integrated 2-speed DHT. The BJ30 offers space savings, 97 percent transmission efficiency, and a smooth, jolt-free driving experience.

To accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h, this vehicle is believed to only need 6.9 seconds.

Meanwhile, on the 4WD version, the system is able to respond in just 0.03 seconds.

Fuel consumption is said to be quite economical, reaching 15.5 km/liter. Therefore, with a 51-liter tank capacity, the unit can be driven as far as 1,000 km.

The BAIC BJ30 Hybrid also has 4 off-road driving modes. Starting from Snow, Mud, Sand, and Wading, making it easier for consumers to carry out various activities.

This Chinese car is claimed to have undergone extreme testing over 4 million kilometers. From hot temperatures of 50 degrees Celsius to snow below -35 degrees Celsius.
