However, they have also produced dozens of reliable technicians from Vocational High School (SMK) students who are ready to enter the national automotive industry.
They did this through the BMW Technician Apprentice Program at GIIAS 2025.

"Especially to meet the needs of current and future customers," said Mahalingam Maganderalingam, Director of Customer Support BMW Group Indonesia at ICE BSD, Tangerang some time ago.
Maha explained that the BMW Technician Apprentice Program is part of the BMW Indonesia Customer Support initiative.
It is aimed at nurturing talented young individuals from vocational and technical schools in the country.
He further stated that since its implementation in 2022, this program has provided tangible benefits.
Especially for the participants as well as the BMW and Mini dealer networks in Indonesia.
"GIIAS 2025 is the largest automotive stage in Indonesia, a fitting place to affirm our commitment to the quality of customer service and the development of national automotive talent," he said.
For your information, this program facilitates students with an automotive education background for ten months.
It includes classroom training and internships at official BMW and Mini dealerships. The result is globally certified graduates.
They are also claimed to be ready to work as BMW Certified Technicians, thus opening up career paths for the participants.
"We highly appreciate the technicians because behind every extraordinary vehicle, there is a reliable technician who ensures its performance remains optimal," Maha emphasized.
It should be noted that since the program opened in 2024, there have been 50 applicants. Subsequently, 13 graduates have been employed in the official dealer network.
Based on the facts above, BMW intends to expand the program's coverage to cities such as Cirebon, Tegal, Yogyakarta, and Singosari, East Java.
BMW will also increase the number of participants who can join the flagship program to 24 people.
Consisting of 14 general repair technicians and 10 body and paint repair technicians.
