KatadataOTO – Ford, through PT RMA Indonesia, has just launched the New Ranger XL, a double cabin pickup for the needs of consumers in the commercial segment. This model is only available with a manual transmission at a price of Rp 521 million on the road in Jakarta.

Previously, Ford only offered the Ranger Wildtrak, XLT, and Ranger Raptor double cabin pickups, which came with an automatic transmission.

According to Ford, the presence of the New Ranger XL can be a new choice for consumers in the country. They revealed that the 4x4 d-cab pickup segment with manual transmission is more in demand.

“It's quite widespread in the archipelago areas. Sumatra, Java, Bali, and Kalimantan. The Ranger XL double cabin is a commercial vehicle that is also multifunctional for mining operations, official use, and others,” said Aviandra Pradipta, Head of Product at PT RMA Indonesia in South Jakarta some time ago.
