KatadataOTO – The Indonesian automotive market will be enlivened by various new cars in 2025, both electric and hybrid vehicles. Many of them are products from China.

There are also some returning to Indonesia after their sales were halted. Like Jeep, which is now under the Indomobil National Distributor and will bring in the latest Wrangler.

Then Ford is ready to present their iconic sports car, the Mustang, complementing their previous vehicle lineup of double cabin pickups and SUVs, the Ranger and Everest.

Not only that, towards the end of last year, newcomer Xpeng officially announced its presence through Erajaya Active Lifestyle. Later, this manufacturer from China will bring two of their flagship products, the G6 and X9.

Other brands like BYD (Build Your Dreams) have prepared a new product in the electric MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) segment from its premium sub-brand, the Denza D9

Next is Leapmotor, which will be distributed by the Indomobil Group. There is one model registered in the Official Industrial Design Gazette, namely the Leapmotor C10.

Not to be left out is Geely. Rumored to launch at IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025, they are reportedly bringing a competitor to the BYD Atto 3, the Geely EX5.
