Vinfast is expanding its authorized service center network with various partners, with the MoU signing taking place at GIIAS 2025.
KatadataOTO – VinFast signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with prospective dealers and workshops at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025.
The electric four-wheeled vehicle manufacturer from Vietnam is serious about this collaboration to expand its network and services for the Indonesian market.
VinFast currently operates 24 dealers in major cities including Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Bali, and plans to increase the number to 30 by the end of July 2025.
Their new strategic partners include Nawilis, Warna Warni Ban and Raperind. This move is believed to expand their presence in Indonesia.
"To serve more customers, we are expanding our dealer network. We are formalizing new partnerships with dealers and independent service workshops,” said Kariyanto, on Friday, July 25, 2025, at ICE BSD City, Tangerang.
To expand access to after-sales services, VinFast is partnering with third parties or independent workshops to offer service access outside its dealer network.
This way, VinFast customers will still be able to enjoy maintenance services for their electric four-wheeled vehicles, software updates, and diagnostic services.
“We thank all prospective investors and workshop partners for their trust and courage in joining VinFast's journey in Indonesia,” said Kariyanto.
For your information, VinFast has officially joined the Association of Indonesia Automotive Industries (GAIKINDO), a step to pave a stronger path with local stakeholders and policymakers in promoting sustainable transportation.
“VinFast brings a new spirit to the Indonesian automotive industry and will help accelerate the shift to more environmentally friendly mobility.” said Yohannes Nangoi as chairman of GAIKINDO.
Additionally, the company has also announced plans to build an electric car assembly plant in Subang, West Java, and has partnered with Green SM, an electric taxi operator, for sustainable public transportation.
For the Indonesian market, VinFast has a line of electric vehicles to market to consumers. such as the VF 5, VF 6, VF e34 and VF 7.
On the other hand, to support the Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure in Indonesia, VinFast has also launched V-GREEN, a public electric vehicle charging network in key locations.
