Suzuki Acknowledges Many Consumers Ask About the Fronx's Presence

KatadataOTO – The presence of the frame of the Suzuki Fronx at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 has apparently made the public more interested in finding out about the product's availability. This is evident from the many visitors who came to ask the sales staff about it.

Suzuki appreciates the questions and sees them as a positive signal, showing customer trust in the products they offer.

“Since the news about the Suzuki Fronx emerged around the end of last year, there have been a great number of inquiries about the product. We can't count the number, but most want to know when it will be launched and its estimated price,” said Harold Donnel, 4W Marketing Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales to the media (20/02).

Unfortunately, he still declined to say when the car will be officially launched by the manufacturer.

“We really appreciate the market's enthusiasm for Suzuki products,” he then emphasized.

However, several sales staff contacted by KatadataOTO mentioned that the Suzuki Fronx will be launched in the middle of the year.

“It will likely be launched in July 2025. The design is similar to the Grand Vitara but its size is smaller,” said the salesperson.

It was previously reported that Suzuki presented the frame of the Fronx at IIMS 2025. Its presence is claimed to educate the public that the formation of a vehicle's white body is one of the production stages.

At the booth, consumers can also learn more detailed information about the technology and advantages of the frame.

It should be noted that in its country of origin, the Suzuki Fronx is available in two type options: the 1.0L Turbo Boosterjet Engine with Smart Hybrid and the Advanced 1.2L K-Series Dual Jet Dual VVT.

The first engine is capable of producing 99 hp and 148 Nm of torque. Suzuki pairs it with a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

Meanwhile, for the Advanced 1.2L K-Series Dual Jet Dual VVT, the power that can be produced is 89 hp and 113 Nm of torque. This power is channeled to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transmission or AGS.
