KatadataOTO – Suzuki's global sales in 2024 saw an increase compared to the achievements in 2023. This is evident from the internal report they released this afternoon.

In a statement, it was mentioned that throughout 2024, their sales reached 3,248,317 units. That number is 175,493 units higher than last year, which was only 3,072,824 units.

Interestingly, 721,788 units came from Japan. This figure is up by 71,218 units compared to the previous 650,570 units.

Meanwhile, sales outside of Japan reached 2,526,529 units. This record is 104,275 units better than the previous 2,422,254 units.

India remains the largest market for Suzuki with sales figures of 1,790,877 units throughout the year. That number grew slightly by 48,197 units from 1,742,680 units in 2023.

Meanwhile, other regional markets contributed a total of  735,652 units, a growth of 56,078 units. In 2023, Suzuki only managed to sell 679,574 units.

As for vehicle production, Suzuki also recorded positive results. Based on the data provided, the manufacturer with the S logo achieved a production figure of 3,299,602 units.

This achievement is higher than Suzuki's record in 2023. At that time, they were only able to produce 3,224,996 units, a difference of 74,606 units.

Of that total, 1,029,910 units were produced in Japan. This figure has grown compared to the previous year's 995,948 units.

Meanwhile, the total number of cars produced outside the home country was 2,269,692 units. The figure is larger than in 2023, which was only 2,229,048 units.

India remains the backbone of production, making 2,062,361 units. This number has grown compared to the previous year's 1,934,186 units.

Meanwhile, the production total outside of Japan and India was 207,331 units, a decrease from the previous 294,862 units.

Although Suzuki's global sales for 2024 increased, its performance in Indonesia was not as good. The retail sales of the Japanese manufacturer were adjusted down to only 69,392 units, a significant drop from 82,244 units in 2023.

Meanwhile, Suzuki's wholesales in 2024 were 66,809 units throughout 2024. That record is 14,248 units less than the 81,067 units achieved in 2023.
