Alva Requests Electric Motorcycle Subsidies to Be Disbursed Before Eid al-Fitr 2025

“We hope it will be launched sooner, as Lebaran 2025 is just around the corner. We are conveying that this should be used as a stimulus,” said Purbaya Pantja, President Director of PT IGM (Ilectra Motor Group) in Jakarta, on Thursday (06/03).

So if the government disburses the electric motorcycle subsidy this month, it could stimulate the public to spend their money on buying an EV (Electric Vehicle).

“So what we are hoping for is for it to be implemented quickly. Because consumers also want to enjoy this incentive,” he continued.

It is undeniable that the uncertainty surrounding the realization of this electric motorcycle subsidy has had several impacts on manufacturers.

Such as affecting their sales. Because consumers have been holding back on purchases recently.

The public is also waiting to see when the government will distribute the electric motorcycle subsidy for the 2025 fiscal year.

Therefore, Alva strongly urges President Prabowo and his ministers to make a decision soon.

“Of course, we hope for clarity on the scheme or form of this government policy so it can be announced sooner,” said Putu Yudha, Chief Operating Officer of Alva, on a different occasion.
