KatadataOTO – The development of electric motorcycles in the world has been attracting significant attention. Various innovations are being made by manufacturers.

Like what was recently done by BMW Motorrad. The brand from Germany showcased the BMW Vision CE.

This new electric motorcycle is planned to be displayed at the Munich Motor Show on September 8, 2025.

“The BMW Vision CE presents a future vision of an electric two-wheeled vehicle for urban roads,” they wrote on the official BMW Group website, Wednesday (03/09).

What makes this BMW electric motorcycle unique is the inclusion of capable safety equipment. For example, it is equipped with a roll cage.

Furthermore, the two-wheeled vehicle has an adventure style. This is thanks to the white and black tubular frame.

In fact, this product allows the rider to not use a helmet or riding gear. Because it is already protected by the roll cage.

“Offering you a greater sense of freedom and a relaxed, carefree riding experience,” they continued.

Even so, the owner is still required to use head protection. Considering there is still a potential for head impact in an accident.

Therefore, to minimize injuries, it is recommended to still wear a helmet, gloves, jacket, and shoes when riding it.

Meanwhile, in the future, BMW envisions their product can be customized according to the owner's needs.

For example, by including a detachable Bluetooth speaker. Then there is a transparent roof or a rear luggage rack.

For your information, the BMW Vision CE is already equipped with a backrest and headrest. Not to forget, there is a seatbelt at the back.

This BMW electric motorcycle is also equipped with a large digital meter panel on the handlebars. It functions to display various vehicle information.

On the other hand, according to a report from Bikewale, the BMW Vision CE has the ability to self-balance when stationary.

This advantage serves as a glimpse into the future of continuously evolving electric motorcycle technology.
