KatadataOTO – Indomobil Emotor Adora has just launched in Indonesia. The electric motorcycle relies on a number of superior features to compete in the country.

Not only that, they also benefit from an established dealer network. Under the auspices of the Indomobil Group, the number of their outlets is said to have reached hundreds.

“Our number of dealers has reached 105 outlets throughout Indonesia, except for Papua. This will continue to grow in the future," said Pius Wirawan, CEO of Indomobil Emotor, on the sidelines of the Adora launch (06/02).

Equipped with a number of embedded advantages, the Indomobil Emotor Adora is expected to be positively received by the public.

Speaking of sales targets, this electric motorcycle has a fairly ambitious goal. At least for a new player, the figure is considered bold.

"The target for electric motorcycles depends on many factors, but we hope to take market share from ICE (Internal Combustion Engine). At least if we can take one percent, that would be very good," Pius added.

With motorcycle sales in Indonesia reaching 6 million units in 2024, the sales target for the Indomobil Emotor Adora is 5,000 units per month.

For your information, a motorcycle that sells 5,000 units per month is the Honda Scoopy. The scooter is very popular among young people, especially women.

To achieve the desired results as mentioned above, they claim to have conducted in-depth research. This allows them to produce a vehicle model that meets consumer needs.

"The most important thing, besides advanced features, is that the comfort is the same as a gasoline motorcycle. So the 6 million ICE motorcycle buyers will want to convert to us,” said Pius.

The Indomobil Emotor Adora electric motorcycle is claimed to have four advantages over other models in the country. Starting with savings of up to Rp 6 million per year compared to ICE.

Then, the Adora's range is also quite promising as it can travel 110 kilometers on a single charge. Another advantage is the ease of maintenance, as there are no oil changes.

Finally, there are the advantages of lower tax costs and, of course, being environmentally friendly.

The Adora itself is sold starting from Rp 24 million with six attractive color options.
