Indomobil eMotor's latest product, Sprinto, has reportedly received a great deal of positive feedback from the Indonesian public.
KatadataOTO – Indomobil eMotor Sprinto was officially launched at the GJAW 2025 event. The electric motorcycle is claimed to have immediately received a positive response.
Since its initial launch, Sprinto is said to have recorded nearly 500 units in SPK (Vehicle Order Letters).
That number continues to grow. This proves the high public interest in the product.
The launch of Sprinto is said to be a step by PT Indomobil Emotor International (IEI) to expand its electric motorcycle portfolio in Indonesia.
“We designed Sprinto as an affordable, practical, and powerful electric mobility solution,” said Pius Wirawan, CEO of PT Indomobil Emotor International in a press release (27/11).
It was further stated that Sprinto unit orders are not just from retail. The greatest interest in the model is said to come from the business sector.
It was also mentioned that there is demand from B2B customers.
“Several companies see a very significant value in operational efficiency. Sprinto can provide savings of up to Rp 7 million per unit,” explained Pius.
The above strategy is claimed to have successfully attracted interest from business consumers. As a result, many are switching to the new electric motorcycle from Indomobil eMotor.
The IEI booth at GJAW 2025 is located in hall 8 C1a. Exhibition visitors can see the diverse range of Indomobil eMotor products.
Sprinto itself comes with a sporty design approach. Combined with a futuristic touch.
It features a Voltura emblem, AeroBlade Panel, and VoltArmor Panel that add to its aggressive character.
At the rear, it is equipped with an Arc Tail Light that produces bright illumination at night. This can increase visibility for other road users.
Then there is the Geoforce Ready Panel, which emphasizes the design's integration with digital features.
As an electric "iron horse," Sprinto is designed with dimensions of 1,980 mm in length, 745 mm in width, and 1,115 mm in height. It also has a ground clearance of 150 mm.
The Indomobil eMotor is equipped with a 3.5 kW drive, which is claimed to produce an instant torque of 195 Nm.
Based on their internal tests, the two-wheeled EV can accelerate from 0 – 50 km/h in just 6.4 seconds.
Its maximum speed reaches 90 km/h and it has a range of 110 km.
The Indomobil eMotor is marketed at a price of Rp 25.5 million OTR Jakarta.
