KatadataOTO – Indomobil Emotor Tyranno launches in Indonesia and tempts domestic adventurers. This adventure-style electric scooter is claimed to have the latest features.

It is even claimed that the embedded technology is not yet available from competitors. Making it a special attraction for the public.

In terms of design, the Tyranno is quite attractive with two round LED lights at the front. Then the body of this electric motorcycle is protected by a crash bar or Exo Armor.

Making its users feel safe and comfortable even when riding on challenging terrain.

“We believe the Tyranno, with its increasingly complete features, will make it the number one electric motorcycle choice for the Indonesian people,” said Pius Wirawan, CEO of Indomobil Emotor Internasional in Jakarta (16/06).

The latest features packed into the Tyranno include a Smart Inclinometer, Cruise Control, and a Smart Touchscreen Speedometer Panel.

It's interesting because Indomobil Emotor's second product, the Tyranno, bears a resemblance to another product from China. From the shape to the specifications, the two vehicles can be said to be almost identical.

The only differences are the motorcycle's logo, the crash bar, and the panniers from front to back. Because the Indomobil Emotor model features the Tyranno logo.

So, what is Indomobil Emotor's response to the product's similarity?

“Actually, it's the same as our first product (Adora). We do design it ourselves, but for the molding, we invest abroad,” answered Pius.

By doing the molding in another country, it is said that the possibility of a similar product existing is not impossible.

Pius explained that the Tyranno is an electric motorcycle that is 100 percent assembled in the country.

Even the TKDN (Domestic Component Level) of the EV scooter has reached 50 percent.

He also confirmed that the Tyranno is an Indonesian-made electric motorcycle. Furthermore, the unit's development has been adapted to the needs of the domestic community.

“In the world, there are 900 million motorcycle units and they are only divided into about 20 thousand models. So it's only natural if some resemble each other, because many competitors also have similar shapes,” said Pius.

The Indomobil Emotor Tyranno is marketed at a price of Rp 25.9 million on the road in Jakarta. The electric motorcycle is already available for purchase at a number of official dealers.
