KatadataOTO – After launching their first model, Maka Motors will focus on strengthening its sales and service network. This is considered very important to make it easier for customers to access products from the local manufacturer.

Therefore, they are committed to opening at least 19 official dealers and workshops throughout Indonesia.

“This week we will open five dealers in Jakarta and the plan is for Maka Motors to open more networks in 2025. The target is 19 outlets throughout Indonesia,” said Raditya Wibowo, CEO of Maka Motors, on the sidelines of the Cavalry launch (15/01).

However, he admitted that they have not yet been able to determine the locations they will work on. This is because they are currently conducting a study to avoid missteps.

“We also hold many events, starting from malls and other public places. The sales team will go around to find out where customers want dealers to be present,” he said.

This data is certainly very important to ensure that the dealers that have been built can have a positive impact on customers. Moreover, they have a fairly high sales target of 15,000 units by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, they will still rely on the Maka Cavalry which was launched earlier today. The electric motorcycle comes with a sporty appearance and resembles a conventional vehicle.

Interestingly, the motorcycle has a range of up to 160 km. This figure can be achieved thanks to the use of a 4 kWh battery that is IP67 certified, making it safe to use even when submerged in water up to 60 cm deep.

Although it has a fairly long range, its power can reach 12 hp and 242 Nm of torque. Its acceleration is also quite fast as it can reach 60 km per hour in 4.8 seconds from a standstill, with a maximum speed of 105 km per hour.

The motorcycle, made in Bekasi, is sold for Rp 38.85 million and is offered in six color options: Victory Red, Armor Grey, Desert Beige, Ocean Blue, Stallion Black, and Royal White.
