Polytron Fox 350 Launches, Starting at Rp 15.5 Million

KatadataOTO – Polytron Fox 350 has been officially launched as an updated version of the electric motorcycle Fox R. Relying on the same technical specifications, the changes focus on design.

According to Polytron, the Fox 350 uses a more ergonomic design and complete comfort features.

It is hoped that it can meet the needs of customers and is in line with feedback from Polytron electric motorcycle users.

“We continue to transform as a company and brand, to be a part of the daily lives of Indonesian consumers,” said Tekno Wibowo, Commercial Director of Polytron in Jakarta, Wednesday (19/11).

The most noticeable change is on the motorcycle's deck. The Polytron Fox 350 has a more spacious deck that adjusts to the rider's posture.

The ergonomic design, named Comfy Deck, is also balanced with other riding comfort features such as Regenerative Braking, Hill Start Assist, and connectivity to smart gadgets via the Polytron EV application.

In terms of technical specifications, there are no changes. The update focuses on design and features according to the needs of Polytron electric motorcycle users.

Polytron electric motorcycle enthusiasts are said to be riders who work in urban areas and travel around their work and residential environments.

“So, the Polytron Fox 350 is very suitable for the daily use of city dwellers in Indonesia. The color selection is also based on those philosophies,” said Ilman Fachrian Fadly, Head of Group Product Electric Vehicle at Polytron.

For your information, the Polytron Fox 350 is equipped with a 3,000-watt electric motor that allows the motorcycle to reach speeds of up to 95 km/h. Its range reaches 130 km on a single full charge.

A Hill Start Assist feature is available to provide safety for riders when the motorcycle stops on an incline, activating when the brake is pressed for about three seconds.

The price of the Polytron Fox 350 is around Rp 15.5 million if purchased without a battery or with a rental scheme of around Rp 200 thousand per month.

Meanwhile, if consumers want to buy the motorcycle including the battery, the price increases to around Rp 22.5 million.

This price tag already includes a self-subsidy from Polytron of Rp 7 million, and is on-the-road (OTR) for the Jadetabek area.
