Polytron Prepares New Electric Motorcycle, Development Version of Fox-R

KatadataOTO – The positive response to Polytron's electric motorcycle has prompted the manufacturer to prepare a new model for Indonesian consumers.

There is no detailed information yet, but Polytron has shared a teaser post with the code 350, believed to be the name of their newest electric motorcycle. This motorcycle will be officially launched on November 19, 2025.

The arrival of Polytron's new electric motorcycle is expected to once again meet the needs of consumers who require a vehicle for urban mobility.

In the post, the silhouette of Polytron's prospective new motorcycle shows a headlight design similar to the Fox-R.

If it is an upgraded version of the Polytron Fox-R, there is a chance its technical specifications will not be much different. The changes will likely focus on the design and features of the motorcycle.

For context, the Polytron Fox-R is equipped with a 3,000-watt electric motor. It offers a maximum speed of 95 km/h.

Meanwhile, the battery capacity embedded in the Polytron Fox-R is 3.7 kWh, allowing the motorcycle to travel up to 130 kilometers on a single charge.

Its design resembles a conventional motorcycle, which is one of its main attractions. Especially for those not yet accustomed to the typically simple and minimalist posture of electric motorcycles.

The Polytron Fox-R uses 110/70 front and 130/70 rear tires, while the rim size is 13 inches.

In terms of dimensions, the L x W x H of the Polytron Fox-R is 2,000 mm x 735 mm x 1,170 mm, not much different from the large scooter Yamaha Nmax, which is 1,935 mm x 740 mm x 1,160 mm.

The embedded features are also capable, such as a digital instrument panel and the availability of a mobile phone charging socket.

Not to forget the connectivity system, which allows the driver to access various vehicle information through a smart device. 

Currently, the price of the Polytron Fox-R is around Rp 13.6 million on the road for Jadetabek and Banten, making it an attractive choice for urban communities.

The upgraded version of the Polytron Fox-R launching tomorrow will likely receive minor design changes and additional features at a competitive price.
