United E-Motor has launched a new product, the MX1200, aimed at ride-hailing drivers and delivery services.
KatadataOTO – United E-Motor presents its latest electric motorcycle intended for online motorcycle taxi (ojol) riders and goods delivery services (couriers) at the IIMS 2025 event.
Various advantages are offered to support the needs of its users. One of them is a longer range.
“We released the United MX1200 as a profitable mode of transportation for motorcycle taxi or delivery service riders. This vehicle is very efficient, has a long range, and its cost is not too high,” said Andry Dwinanda, General Manager of United E-Motor at JIExpo Kemayoran (18/02).
Born as an electric motorcycle, the battery it carries uses high-performance lithium-ion material. On a single full charge, it is claimed to be able to travel up to 180 kilometers.
During the launch process yesterday, the unit was showcased to dozens of ojol riders. They were shown the various advantages of the vehicle that support their work.
To provide convenience for potential customers, the United MX1200 is offered with a rental system. This further accommodates ojol and goods delivery riders.
“We launched this program to help them own an electric motorcycle easily. So they don't have to worry about large installments,” Andry later explained.
He also explained that eventually, the United MX1200 electric motorcycle can become the property of the rider. Making it mutually beneficial for both parties.
The program offered is Rent To Own. This ownership scheme is claimed to be very affordable.
Users of this motorcycle only need to spend Rp 55 thousand per day for 720 days, or 2 years. This method is claimed to be quite convenient for users.
At the end of the payment period, the motorcycle can be owned by the riders, complete with its official documents.
The United MX1200 is a compact scooter-type electric motorcycle. Its overall length reaches 1,750 mm, with a width of 670 mm and a height of 1,065 mm.
The vehicle's wheelbase is stated to be 1,240 mm.
For suspension, it relies on a telescopic model at the front and dual shocks at the rear. The wheels used are 3.00 – 10 inches in diameter for both the front and rear.
This motorcycle is claimed to only need 5 hours to charge from 0 – 80 percent. The minimum power required is 900 VA, meaning it can be charged at home.
