BAIC Indonesia is set to return to GIIAS 2025, showcasing its flagship and technologically advanced products.
KatadataOTO – PT JIO Distribusi Indonesia is once again enlivening the GIIAS 2025 event. This time, the manufacturer from China is presenting a new model, the BAIC BJ30 Hybrid.
Carrying the theme Empowering The Future, BAIC affirms its commitment as a global brand, while also presenting modern, efficient, and sustainable mobility solutions.
As the main distributor of BAIC in Indonesia, JIO is said to have successfully received a positive response from the public.
“We want visitors not only to see the vehicles, but also how BAIC can be a part of their future lifestyle and mobility,” said Dhani Yahya, Chief Operating Officer of BAIC Indonesia in a press release quoted on (27/07).
He added that GIIAS 2025 is a special moment for BAIC Indonesia, as it marks their first full year in the country.
It was stated that during that period, BAIC has acquired more than 500 customers. And there are now 12 dealers in various regions across the country.
Furthermore, the appearance of the BJ30 Hybrid is proof of BAIC's seriousness in supporting the national mobility transformation.
Moreover, the newly released vehicle is proven to be efficient, tough, and high-tech.
Then, BAIC's latest model is believed to affirm a strategy that combines efficiency in internal combustion engines (ICE) and hybrid innovation.
This step is a sign that they are ready to welcome the electric vehicle (EV) era.
At the GIIAS 2025 event, this brand from China is presenting a total of 10 units in hall 5, booth 5B at ICE BSD. Their booth area is 750 square meters, with the BJ30 Hybrid on the main stage.
The right-hand drive BAIC BJ30 Hybrid is the first to appear in the world. The unit, wrapped in white and green, is paired with accessories like a roof rack, side box, side ladder, and Dometic outdoor gear.
Thus, the boxy SUV's capability as an adventure vehicle is further emphasized. It is also suitable for both urban and off-road terrain.
They are also displaying 8 modified concept units, which are hoped to be an inspiration for potential customers in Indonesia.
And represent the innovation, lifestyle, and design flexibility of BAIC for the Indonesian market.
