GJAW 2025 will be a promotional event for dozens of automotive manufacturers to boost their sales this year.
KatadataOTO – The Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week or GJAW 2025 is a platform for many manufacturers to present their best sales programs and launch new products.
A number of manufacturers decided to launch cars at the GJAW 2025 automotive exhibition, such as Toyota, Suzuki, and VinFast.
The Toyota Veloz Hybrid is one of the main highlights. The model is here to complete Toyota's electrification lineup in the Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) segment.
Then, the Jetour T2 arrives as a boxy Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) with a gasoline engine configuration. However, starting next year, they will introduce their first hybrid car, the T2 PHEV.
Chinese manufacturers still dominate the lineup of new cars at GJAW 2025. Besides Jetour, Changan made its debut by bringing two electric car models, namely Lumin and Deepal S07.
The Changan Lumin enlivens the compact electric car lineup alongside the Wuling Air ev, VinFast VF 3, and Seres E5.
The newest variants of the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH are here, namely Comfort and Premium, starting from around IDR 400 million. Previously, there was only one type priced at around IDR 500 million.
A sub-brand of Chery also enlivened GJAW 2025. They brought the Lepas L8 PHEV, an electrification line with attractive color options targeting upper-middle-class consumers.
Then there is the Geely EX2. The compact electric car is offered at IDR 233 million and can already be ordered if consumers are interested.
During the pre-booking period, there are attractive offers such as discounts of up to IDR 5 million or leasing subsidies. Then, free choice of color at no additional cost, as well as a free wall charger and its installation.
All of these new car units can be seen directly at GJAW 2025, which takes place at ICE BSD, Tangerang until November 30.
