Suzuki consumers also confirmed that the Japanese manufacturer indeed supports the availability of genuine vehicle spare parts, even for older models.

This was revealed by members of the Suzuki car community who attended the GIIAS 2025 event some time ago.

The availability of spare parts and the dealer network are among the reasons for the large number of Suzuki car users in Indonesia.

Currently, for Suzuki's newest model, the Fronx, PT SIS has also guaranteed its components as they are compatible with various previous products already marketed in the country.

It is known that the Suzuki Fronx has more than 6,000 parts. Only about 1,118 of them are specific to that model.

So in total, there are about 5,000 other components that can be substituted because it still uses the K15-coded engine.

“(Spare parts) that are only for the Fronx amount to  1,118 items, the rest are common,” said Christiana Yuwantie, Assistant to Aftersales Department Head of Spareparts at PT SIS at ICE BSD, Monday (18/07).

For your information, the Suzuki Fronx is available in two engine options coded K15B and K15C. A similar powertrain with the K15 code has been embedded in several other flagship models such as the Carry and XL7.

The K15 engine is a four-cylinder, 16-valve type with Dual VVT (Variable Valve Timing) technology and a displacement of 1,462 cc, and is known for its reliability in tackling various terrains.
