KatadataOTOKawasaki is trying to spoil motorcycle lovers at the end of 2025. Most recently, they launched the 2026 KLE500 model.

The legendary two-wheeled vehicle is like being reborn. It was famous in the 1990s before being replaced by the Kawasaki Versys.

In the latest version, the Kawasaki KLE500 has a more aggressive look. It features a true rally-style design and tough performance.

“The Kawasaki KLE500 is designed to help you explore new places,” wrote Kawasaki on their official website, Monday (27/10).

Unlike the Versys, the Kawasaki KL500 is claimed to be for two-wheeled vehicle lovers who enjoy adventure.

It is ready to be taken through various terrains, from asphalt, dirt, and rocks to mud.

The Kawasaki KLE500 also has a slim body, making it easier for the owner to maneuver.

For the frame, the new Kawasaki motorcycle is equipped with a trellis model. It is claimed to be sturdy and lightweight.

It also features an up-side-down (USD) front shock. The rear is equipped with a Uni-Trak suspension, which can be adjusted as needed.

In terms of performance, the Kawasaki KLE500 carries a 451 cc parallel-twin engine, exactly the same as the one in the Kawasaki Ninja 500.

The aforementioned engine can produce up to 44.7 hp, while the peak torque reaches 43 Nm.

To support this performance, this motorcycle is equipped with a 16-liter fuel tank, so it can be relied upon for long journeys.

For your information, the Kawasaki KLE500 is available in two variants. First, there is the standard type with a digital LCD screen, a short visor, and halogen turn signals.

Then, the special edition or SE is equipped with a TFT meter panel, a tall, adjustable front visor, LED lights, and accessories such as hand guards and a skid plate.

Unfortunately, the Kawasaki KLE500 has not yet entered the Indonesian market, as it is currently only sold in the United States.

The Kawasaki KLE500 is ready to challenge a number of products, such as the Honda CRF300 Rally, KTM 390 Adventure, and Yamaha Tenere 700.
